Determine the discussion structure that will serve as the framework for your presentation. Begin by creating an outline to define the content for each slide. Once the outline is ready, you can select a presentation template that suits your outline.

2. Follow the 6 x 6 rule

Too much text can clutter the slide and make it difficult for the audience to focus on the key points you want to convey. To avoid this, follow the 6×6 rule, which means a maximum of 6 bullet points with 6 words in each bullet point.

3. Be creative with design, animations, and slide transitions

Try out various creative themes, animations, and slide transitions. Impress your audience with an engaging presentation. Using a bold and bright color scheme is an excellent way to grab the audience’s attention and appear more serious about your topic.

4. Maintain consistent design from start to finish

Creativity is welcome, but ensure that the design remains consistent to maintain the identity of your presentation or your brand. In the end, your branding or company branding is what sticks in the minds of the audience. Always follow your brand guidelines!

5. Be confident when delivering the presentation

The technical preparation is complete. Now, it’s time to be confident when delivering the presentation. Do something you enjoy before presenting to boost your mood, wear comfortable and smart clothing, and take a deep breath before taking the stage.
