Rules<\/b><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Participants submit a video containing a scene reading the news according to the attached text, together with the filled form of registration in pdf. <\/span><\/li>\n
  • The video must be submitted through SGU Website <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Participants may choose their own background for the video as long as it is free from<\/span>
    \n<\/span> moving objects (such as people, vehicles, pets, etc)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • There are no specific rules regarding the quality of the video as long as it shows the face<\/span>
    \n<\/span> and body clearly.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • The video must be submitted according to the date stated<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Each participant is allowed to submit only a video<\/span><\/li>\n
  • The video must be disseminated through social media account with the hashtag #GSC_SGU_NewscastingCompetition2021 mentioning GSC social media accounts @gsc.sgu and vt.tiktok.com\/ZSJoMrXB2\/<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Scoring Criteria <\/b><\/p>\n

    The assessment range score is based on a number of elements as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Performance, including self-presentation, confidence, expression and eye contact<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Material Control, including intonation, articulation, tempo, and timing<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Ability in English, including vocabulary, pronunciation, and fluency<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Appearance, including neatness, clothes, and make-up<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Dissemination via social media accounts<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Winner Announcement<\/b><\/p>\n

      All participants should respect and appreciate every judgement from the judges
      \n<\/span>The judges’ decisions are final and cannot be contested
      \n<\/span>There is no correspondence pertaining to the judging process will be considered
      \n<\/span>Winner announcement will be posted on the SGU website
      \n<\/span>Winner will be contacted directly by the Committee<\/span><\/p>\n
