The purpose of this event is to equip the teachers with valuable training and workshop so that they could provide excellent education and services to the students.This year, the SGU Teacher Gathering is themed: Provision of Professional Counseling: Student Relations and Careers, was held on June 2nd, 2016 at the Pullman Hotel, Thamrin, Jakarta.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAround 30 representative teachers from SGU&rsquo;s partnering schools attended this event. The event was opened by SGU&rsquo;s Director of Communication, Ms. Christie Kanter and was followed by a Presentation on Student-Parent Relations by Psychologist, Elizabeth T. Santosa, M.Psi. The topic was very interesting and gave the participants a deep insight into the benefits of building strong relationships.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<br \/>\n\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"IMG_1592\" class=\"size-large wp-image-10412 aligncenter\" height=\"410\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sgu.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/IMG_1592-1024x683.jpg\" title=\"\" width=\"614\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sgu.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/IMG_1592-1024x683.jpg 1024w,  https:\/\/sgu.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/IMG_1592-300x200.jpg 300w,  https:\/\/sgu.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/IMG_1592-768x512.jpg 768w,  https:\/\/sgu.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/IMG_1592-255x170.jpg 255w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 614px) 100vw, 614px\" \/>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\n\t<em>Elizabeth T. Santosa M.Psi invited all participants to discuss about how to be a great teacher<\/em>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tIn the second session, the Head of Bachelor of Business Administration at SGU, Dr. Dr. Dipl.-Ing. Rachman Sjarief, MM. MH., gave a presentation on Career paths for students.&nbsp; Through this presentation he hopes all counselors can guide their students to choose majors according to their interests and talents.
