Bank Mandiri (Persero), Tbk and the Executive Director of Mandiri Institute, shared his understanding and knowledge with 115 students and 15 lecturers of SGU during a Guest Lecture session held at SGU campus at The Prominence Tower, Alam Sutera.\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\tThe topic shared by Mr. Anton H. Gunawan, who is also the President Commissioner of PT Mandiri Manajemen Investasi, was &ldquo;Globalization, Investment, and Strategy: A Collaboration between Industry and Higher Education&rdquo;. The topic is needed to update the students with current issues in the economic field.\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\n\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13153\" height=\"384\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sgu.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/IMG_0696resize.jpg\" title=\"\" width=\"576\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sgu.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/IMG_0696resize.jpg 640w,  https:\/\/sgu.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/IMG_0696resize-300x200.jpg 300w,  https:\/\/sgu.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/IMG_0696resize-255x170.jpg 255w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 576px) 100vw, 576px\" \/>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\tCountries today strategically pursue regional development and economic diversification to compete in the world market. Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are at &ldquo;the root&rdquo; of this global strategy.&nbsp;The challenges are how the higher educations could drive and sustain innovation and entrepreneurial activity by using an innovation strategic approach like the Penta Helix model.&nbsp;The Penta Helix approach&nbsp;consists of five pillars, which are academic, business, government, association and media.&nbsp;The role of HEIs in adopting this approach is to develop an innovation network for business and social innovation.&nbsp;They should also create opportunities for implementing innovation culture. It likewise seeks, indentifies and details strategies and workable programs.\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\tIt suggest the creation of a network channel to allow key players in the innovations network to share innovation information and to collaborate with each other.\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\tSGU is committed to providing insight and current knowledge on the world&rsquo;s current issues by bringing industry&rsquo;s top leaders and government&rsquo;s high ranking officials closer to our students.
