\n\tWednesday, October 21st, 2015 – The National Conference on Community Service and Corporate Social Responsibility of 2015 (Konferensi PKM & CSR 2015) was officially opened today, highlighting the topic “Sinergi Perguruan Tinggi dan Dunia Usaha untuk Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Berkelanjutan” at the function hall of our neighbor, Multimedia Nusantara University to mark the beginning of synergy between universities and business sectors in community service and corporate social responsibility activities. The conference was organized by Swiss German University, Multimedia Nusantara University, and Pelita Harapan University and supported by private sectors such as Pertamina, Oracle Academy, Lippo, Multipolar, DSS energy and infrastructure, and ACA Asuransi. 
\n\tThe two-day conference was opened by Kepala Dinas Sosial Provinsi Banten, Mr. Nandi Mulya and followed by keynote speech delivery by Direktur Pengembangan Teknologi Industri from Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Dr. Eng Hotmatua Daulay M.Eng, B.Eng in which he presented Indonesia’s industry development potential that can be considered as a framework for the national conference.
\n\tDuring the opening Head of Committee, Dr. Endah Murwani mentioned that there were 137 abstract submissions for the conference from which 82 papers will be discussed during the conference with the hope of bringing more synergy among universities, business sectors, and business sectors. 
\n\tThe opening of the national conference was also attended by SGU Vice- Rector Non Academic, Mr. Edward Boris Manurung, M.Eng, Multimedia Nusantara University Rector, Mr. Ninok Leksono, SGU Director of Academic Research & Community Service, Dr.-Ing Evita Legowo, and around 150 guests. 
\n\tThe National Conference on Community Service and Corporate Social Responsibility (Konferensi PKM & CSR) is planned to be held annually involving the three pioneer universities; Swiss German University, Multimedia Nusantara University, and Pelita Harapan University with the objective of creating a medium for information exchange related to community service and corporate social responsibility programs.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
