OPENING CEREMONY of SGU TAX CENTER

On 22 September, 2015, the Accounting Department of Swiss German University (SGU) along with the  Directorate General of Taxation (Direktorat Jenderal Pajak – DJP) Banten, inaugurated the Tax Center at SGU. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Head of DJP Banten, Dra. Catur Rini Widosari, Akk, MBT and SGU Rector, Dr. rer. nat. Filiana Santoso. A Taxation seminar also held and attended by all accounting students, SGU staffs and Small Medium Entrepreneurs around SGU.
The pupose of the SGU Tax Center is to build awareness of the field of taxation and to offer taxation services to the public, including SGU students and employees.  Together with academia and society in general, Tax Center to review and discuss about regulatory policies and taxation. The tax center also provides information regarding new policies and regulations issued by the government. The integrated Tax Center is under direct supervision of DJP so that the information given is accurate.

DJP Banten has already held other tax related activities for other Tax Center is tax seminars, such as e-filling SPT Tahunan Orang Pribadi and public hearing for changes of the Income Tax Act (Pajak Penghasilan-PPh). The new Tax Center is expected to support and raise awareness of tax obligations as well as the container tax study, not only for SGU students but also society in general.
