SGU Accounting Program Held Tax Socialization

Accounting program of Swiss German University held Tax Socialization event on 23 March 2017 at Swiss German University The Prominence Tower Campus, Alam Sutera. The event was held by SGU Tax Center, Accounting Department took the theme of Socialization of Personal Income Tax on Employee; Self-employed Business; Freelance Business, and E-filing Tax Report.

Under the cooperation with The Tax Banten Regional Office (Direktorat Jenderal Pajak, Kantor Wilayah Banten), this opportunity was also used to brush up again our knowledge on utilizing the E-filing mechanism for Annual Tax Report purposes (Laporan Pajak SPT Tahunan – 2016). Slightly different with the Tax Goes to Campus last year, this time the event was also presenting the way to prepare the Tax Report (SPT Form 1770) for those tax payers who generate personal income from running their own business (self-employed) other than being employee only.

Questions related to personal income of being lectures, moving staffs and to a certain extent about tax amnesty issues were raised for further clarifications by the speaker from Tax Office. Hoping the SGU Tax Center will be more actively involved in the tax socialization activities for the success of tax education and for the benefit of community.
