Able to graduate from Swiss German University played a crucial part of my career. The experience gave me such a boost of confidence that I can achieve something that I used to believe it is impossible;
1. Never thought I would be able to survive years of studying food technology delivered in English;
2. Never thought I was able to communicate in 3 different languages;
3. Never thought I was able to earn money in Germany while studying and visited Allianz Arena. The whole journey in SGU was full of unique and positive challenges that not only will shape your functional skills but as well as your personal development for the future career. Cheers!

The program provided by SGU is very effective with the double degree program. We don’t need to study for a long period of time abroad. It helps me to be more effective in terms of time and cost. Because the learning provided is of an international standard, it trains me to think in a structured way and analyze problems well, especially in the business aspect.

The program provided by SGU is very compatible with the industrial world at this time and is increasing my understanding of the global industry. The courses I enjoy most are Innovation Technology Management, Sensors, and Actuators, Mechatronic System Design. Understanding the above, facilitating me to see the system, in more detail,
facilitate, decide, whether it is acceptable, or not, from the perspective, quality, and objective safety. I am easy to detail the problem so the decision/procedure must be made right and can be applied.

A year in Germany was an utterly incredible experience for me. Having one semester studying German, we got the chance to explore and experience their culture. The internship challenged both our hard skills and soft skills, as we not only had to complete the project, but also we had to interact with foreign co- workers.
Overall, the exchange program gave us the opportunity to develop and challenge ourselves independently.

Why SGU? The class is provided in English, so everything 100% in English, SGU offers two mandatory Internships, the first in the third semester in Jakarta and the second in the sixth semester is internship abroad (mostly in Germany). Therefore, the students have working experience before graduating.
Students can be registered as an exchange student with a partner university to acquire a double degree for those who qualified with certain requirements. I would describe Swiss German University has played a key role in my professional experience. It was exciting and dynamic. The best thing about being a student here is the number of additional opportunities that are available. I was initially attracted here by the international university reputation and my career goals.
The best thing about the degree is having the freedom to think of an idea and test its practical application. I feel extremely lucky to be in an environment that is surrounded by true professionals and allow me to do research on what interests me the most. To any new students coming to the University, I would say this: Throw yourself at every opportunity that comes your way. If it gets too much, you can always scale back, but those opportunities can make all the difference between getting what you want and having to settle for second best.
