The clear technology leader for battery-powered cars, founded by billionaire Elon Musk is now worth more than the five top-selling global vehicle making groups combined. Tesla has recorded a fifth quarter in a row of profit, as sales of its electric cars accelerated to a new record despite the pandemic.

5. Facebook

Facebook usage has soared during the pandemic, more than 3.3 billion people use a facebook-owned app at least once a month. According to the verge, the company reported fourth quarter earnings on Wednesday of more than $28 billion in revenue with profit of $11.2 billion.
