BAN-PT’s Visitation at Swiss German University

On Tuesday, 19 February 2019, the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT) visited Swiss German University (SGU) campus at the Prominence Tower, Alam Sutera, in order to conduct field assessment of SGU as a higher education institution.

In order to improve SGU’s quality as the first international university in Indonesia, the BAN-PT team provided a thorough assessment of SGU. The team of assessors, consisting of Dr. Ir. Suhanan, DEA, Prof. Dr. Hafied Cangara, M.Sc., and Prof. Dr. Herri, MBA, were interested in SGU’s uniqueness, namely the internship program and international curriculum.

During the event, SGU Rector, Dr. rer. nat. Filiana Santoso delivered an opening speech to the participants, including all Head of study programs and departments. The Chairman of the SGU Board of Management, Dr. med. Frans Tshai, also attended the event and delivered a speech.

“We hope that through this BAN-PT visit, SGU will continue to provide the best education with international quality and competence to all students and thus produce graduates who can compete in the global arena,” said Dr. Filiana.
