Digital transformation brings connectiveness between devices and systems. On one hand this connectiveness opens potentials to increase productivity, but on the other hand it also poses risks of cyber-attacks which can jeopardize the whole system. Cyber security has then become an integral part of digital transformation effort.

The evolving unknown threats become the constant challenge of cyber security professionals and researchers.  This calls for new and continuous innovations in detecting these unknown threats by utilizing analytics of combined internal and external system logs and information.  This gives rise to the opportunity of using machine learning algorithms to identify suspicious and even malicious patterns, allowing fine-grained behavior-based threat analysis to boost higher accuracy in threat detection.
