SGU Hosts Informative Session on Master and PhD Studies in Germany and DAAD Scholarship Opportunities
Thursday, November 2, 2023 – An enlightening Info Session on Master and PhD Studies in Germany and DAAD Scholarship Opportunities was held at the SGU campus. The session, delivered by Dr. Guido Schnieders, Director of the DAAD Regional Office, aimed to provide valuable insights into scholarships and various collaborations with German universities for SGU’s academic community, including faculty members and students.
Prior to the session, Dr. Guido Schnieders was warmly welcomed by SGU’s Rector, Mr. Samuel Kusomocahyo, VR 2, Mrs. Nila Krisnawati, all Deans, Heads of Departments, and Mrs. Deborah Simorangkir, along with their respective teams. The gathering facilitated a platform for fruitful discussions about academic collaborations and scholarship opportunities available for SGU students and faculty members in Germany.
The objective of this event was to enhance awareness among SGU’s academic community about the numerous scholarship options offered by DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) and to foster connections with esteemed universities in Germany. Dr. Guido Schnieders shared valuable insights into the application process, eligibility criteria, and the range of study programs available for Master’s and PhD studies in Germany.
