Strengthening Educational Ties: SGU and IPEKA Christian School Foster Collaborative Bonds
Monday, February 5, 2024 – Swiss German University (SGU) and IPEKA Christian School reaffirmed their commitment to fostering educational collaboration, marking a significant milestone in their long standing partnership. The recent visit from SGU’s esteemed representatives aimed to nurture and fortify the bond between these two venerable institutions, setting the stage for an even more fruitful collaboration in the academic year of 2024/2025.
Led by the distinguished SGU Rector, Dr. Dipl.-Ing. Samuel P. Kusumocahyo, and accompanied by key figures such as Vice Rector Non-Academic Dr. Nila Krisnawati Hidayat, SE., MM, Dean Faculty of Life Sciences and Technology Dr. Hery Sutanto, S.Si., M.Si, Dean Faculty of Business and Communications Dr. Ir. Yosman Bustaman, M.Buss, and Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology Dr. Maulahikmah Galinium, S.Kom., M.Sc. SGU’s delegation engaged in fruitful discussions with IPEKA’s leadership, including Pak Handjodjo as President Director, Ibu Ester as National School Director, Ibu Uli as head of the curriculum, and Ibu Olive as the head of the pathway to university.
The synergy between SGU and IPEKA has been dynamic, encompassing a wide array of collaborative endeavors ranging from knowledge exchange to joint projects. The meeting not only reinforced the existing partnership but also paved the way for new opportunities. One such opportunity includes scholarships for IPEKA’s teachers to pursue master’s programs at SGU, enriching their expertise and enhancing the quality of education offered at the institution. Moreover, SGU will provide support in the area of university counseling at IPEKA, ensuring students have access to comprehensive guidance on international pathways and credit recognition.
