Swiss German University (SGU) Signs MOU with Tata Informasi Asia (TIA) to Foster Training and Certification Programs

On October 7, 2024, Swiss German University (SGU), through its Directorate of Academic Research and Community Service (ARCS), officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Tata Informasi Asia (TIA), a renowned Training Institution. This partnership aims to prepare participants for both local and international employment opportunities across various industries through specialized training and certification programs.

The collaboration will focus on several key areas, including the joint development of talents in Cyber Security and the EC Council Professional Certification for the professional market. Additionally, SGU is set to become a competency testing center for TIA’s future training programs, further enhancing its role in the industry.

The MOU establishes a 5-year partnership, spanning from 2024 to 2029, ensuring a long-term commitment to advancing talent and professional development in Indonesia.

The signing ceremony was attended by key representatives from both institutions. On behalf of TIA, Sabta Elisa (Commissioner), Christian Tobing (Commissioner), Christian Levin (Director), Novila Kurnia (Business Development Manager), and Dody Armanto (Media Partner) were present. SGU was represented by Dr. Dipl.-Ing. Samuel P. Kusumocahyo, Rector of SGU, Dr. Ir. Maulahikmah Galinium, S.Kom., M.Sc., Director of ARCS and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering & IT, and Tabligh Permana, M.Si, Head of Community Service.

This MOU marks a significant step forward in SGU’s commitment to developing highly skilled professionals equipped to meet the demands of the evolving global workforce.
