SGU Hosts Financial Literacy Event on Government Bonds for Staff

On Friday, October 18, 2024, Swiss German University held an insightful financial literacy event titled Tak Kenal Maka Tak Sayang: Mengenal Surat Berharga Negara at its Alam Sutera campus. The session, led by Alifia Yustisia, Branch Manager of PT. Sucor Sekuritas, focused on retail government bonds (Surat Berharga Negara – SBN) as a secure and promising investment option.

Alifia Yustisia provided a clear and comprehensive overview of the different types of SBN, explaining their benefits in personal asset management and long-term financial planning. SGU staff gained valuable insights into how these government bonds can offer stable returns and low-risk investment opportunities, particularly in today’s diverse financial landscape.

The interactive discussion allowed attendees to explore topics such as potential returns, risk management, and the bonds’ contribution to Indonesia’s economic growth. The session was highly practical, giving participants fresh perspectives on managing their finances more effectively with safe, government-backed instruments.

Through this event, SGU continues to empower its staff with essential financial knowledge, contributing to both their personal and professional development.
