A Visit from Commsult AG
On February 11, 2016 the IT Department of Swiss German University was visited by the representative of Commsult AG, Germany. During the visit at SGU campus, Mr. Michael Buschner was warmly welcomed by Dipl.-Inf. Kho I Eng, Dr. Maulahikmah Galinium, S.Kom., M.Sc., and James Purnama, M.Sc from the IT study program.
The main objective of the visit by Commsult AG was to establish cooperation between Commsult AG and SGU. Commsult AG, an IT company headquartered in Postdam, Germany, is currently giving the opportunity to two of SGU IT students to conduct their 6th semester internship program in Germany. Commsult AG visited SGU to see the possibility of partnership and collaboration with SGU especially in training delivery to the IT students.
The Head of IT study program of SGU, Dipl.-Inf. Kho I Eng, hopes that the collaboration between Commsult AG and SGU could improve the quality of SGU students. “Now that we’re facing the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) era, we have to prepare for this competition. SGU recognises this challenge and feels that this collaboration can greatly improve the knowledge and skills of SGU students in order to compete in the AEC era,” said Mr. Kho.
