Convocation Ceremony and Orientation Day of the Second Cohort Class (Industrial Engineering) under an Academic Cooperation between PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk, SGU, and Polytechnic Gajah Tunggal
The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT), in particular the study program of Industrial Engineering Swiss German University (SGU), held a Convocation Ceremony to welcome the second cohort of student of the cooperation between PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk., SGU, and Polytechnic Gajah Tunggal on Saturday, 12th of August 2017 at the SGU campus. The main purpose of the convocation ceremony was to officially open the new second cohort class of the cooperation and to ensure smooth transisiton to academic and campus life for the second cohort student.

The ceremony was hosted by Anis Choirunisa (Faculty Admin Officer FEIT extension program) and attended by the Head of Industrial Engineering Dr. Tanika Sofianti, the Head of Master of Mechanical Engineering Dena Hendriana, lecturers of the bridging program, and students. The cermony was initiated with a welcoming address and opening remarks by Dr. Ir. Gembong Baskoro, M.Sc, followed by a speech by Dr. Ita Mariza, M.M, and Singgih Aji Wibowo, an Alumni of cohort #1.
The opening of the new second cohort class officially marked with the wearing of alma mater suit to the new student representative by Director of Polytechnic Gajah Tunggal, Dr. Ita Mariza as well as presentation of extension program jacket to the Director of Polytechnic Gajah Tunggal by Dean of Faculty of Engineering and IT, Swiss German University.

The 30 cohort #2 students benefitted from the event by receiving advice from the faculty members related to surviving in campus life, having SGU academix regulations as well as a sharing session from the alumni of cohort #1 related to managing success. The event concluded with students, lecturers, and officials from SGU sharing lunch together.
