Enhancing International Collaborations: SGU Rector Visit to Ernest-Abbe-Hochschule Jena

This visit marks a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to foster international collaborations and cultivate global leaders.
Rector SGU was warmly received by the distinguished Prof. Dr. Christoph Koch, Head of the Technical and Environmental Chemistry Department at Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule Jena. Their fruitful discussions centered around the potential for joint research initiatives, academic partnerships, and student exchange programs.
The meeting emphasized the shared commitment to providing students with exceptional educational opportunities and nurturing their global competencies.
Accompanying Prof. Dr. Koch was Ms. Bianca Mohr, representing the International Office of EAH Jena University of Applied Sciences. Furthermore, this visit served as a unique occasion to meet four talented students from Sustainable Energy & Environment Program study SGU who are currently undertaking internships in Jena. This invaluable opportunity allowed Rector SGU and team to engage directly with our students, gaining insights into their experiences, and witnessing firsthand the transformative impact of international internships on their personal and professional growth.
