Leaders of SGU exchange visit to ATMI Cikarang
On May 25, 2015, a delegation from Faculty of Engineering and IT (FEIT) Swiss German University (SGU) made an exchange visit to Akademi Tehnik Mesin Industri (ATMI) Cikarang. The SGU delegation was led by Dr.rer.nat. Filiana Santoso (Acting Rector of SGU) and included Boris Manurung, M.Eng. (Vice Rector-2), Dr.rer.nat. Maruli Panjaitan (Director of Cooperation), Eny Rosida, SE (Head of Finance), Dr. Ir. Gembong Baskoro, MSc. (Dean of Faculty of Engineering & IT), Prof. Dr.Ir. Houtman Siregar, M.Si. (Head of Master of Mechanical Engineering in Mechatronics), and ir. Landoh Garnito, MTD (Coordinator of FEIT extension program). They were warmly welcomed by ATMI Cikarang leaders and officials including Romo B.B. Triatmoko, SJ (Chairman of the ATMI Foundation), Romo Ag. Hendro Subekti, SJ (Director of ATMI Cikarang), Romo Ch. Kristiono Puspo, SJ (Deputy Director), Dipl.-Ing. Henri Paul, MBA (Deputy Director of Academic Affairs), and other officials of ATMI Cikarang. The visit of SGU to ATMI Cikarang was a follow up to an earlier high level delegation visit to SGU from ATMI Cikarang. The visit from SGU was to further (non) academic detailed discussion of possible cooperation towards a fasttrack program.
Initially, Romo B.B. Triatmoko, SJ gave a welcome speech and led a Q&A session as a gesture of the warmest welcome to the SGU delegation and continued with a further presentation of the (non) academic development and achievement of ATMI CIkarang facilitated by Dipl.-Ing. Henri Paul, MBA.
After the presentation giving an overview of ATMI CIkarang, the delegation, in two separate groups, went into further focus group discussions and a meeting of (non) academic aspects. After the focus group discussion, the plenary meeting continued with the presentation of an interesting token of memento by Romo Ag. Hendro Subekti, SJ (Director of ATMI Cikarang) to Dr.rer.nat. Filiana Santoso (Acting Rector of SGU). The meeting continued with lunch and closed with a Facility walk-down and tour of ATMI Cikarang facilities. Finally, all the delegates of the two institutions had a photo session together before the SGU delegation returned to the SGU Campus.
