We are delighted to welcome our newest intake of SGU students to our vibrant academic community. Orientation Week 2025 carries the theme Altuera, from the Latin altera, meaning change, growth, and becoming better. It reflects the transformation new students undergo as they begin their SGU journey—growing personally, adapting meaningfully, and leading with empathy.
Built on SGU’s RAPIDS values, Orientation Week is designed as a transformative experience that goes beyond academic orientation. It fosters self-discovery, collaboration, and social responsibility, preparing students to embrace university life with intention and compassion.
Held on 1–4 September 2025, the program features:
- Day 1: Opening Ceremony
- Day 2: Seminar Session & Amazing Race
- Day 3: RAPIDS Session, Fundraising & Activities with Orphanage Children
- Day 4: SGU’s Got Talent, UKM Fair & Closing Celebration
