SGU and Netciti Establish Strategic Partnership to Strengthen Cybersecurity and Accelerate IPv6 Adoption

Swiss German University (SGU) and PT Netciti Persada (Netciti) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 11 February 2026 at the SGU Campus to formalize a strategic collaboration focused on enhancing cybersecurity services and accelerating IPv6 adoption in Indonesia.
Through this partnership, SGU will deliver Security Operations Center (SOC) as a Service to support Netciti’s customers with advanced threat monitoring, incident response, and managed security operations. Leveraging SGU’s expertise in cybersecurity education and its in-house SOC infrastructure, the initiative is designed to strengthen cyber resilience for businesses and communities served by Netciti, particularly amid the rising complexity of digital threats.
In addition to cybersecurity services, the collaboration will support the deployment of IPv6 across Netciti’s broadband and Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) network. As global internet infrastructure continues transitioning to IPv6 to enable scalable, secure, and future-ready connectivity, the initiative aligns with Indonesia’s national agenda to accelerate IPv6 adoption and improve overall network performance, reliability, and address capacity for the rapidly expanding digital economy.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dipl.-Ing. Samuel P. Kusumocahyo, Rector of SGU, stated, “This partnership reflects our commitment to contributing directly to industry needs and national digital readiness.
