SGU Collaborate with BUMDesa Tangerang District to Support the Community in Tangerang Area

 
On 27 September 2018, Swiss German University held a socialization event on the Development and Innovation Program at Village Level in collaboration with BUMDesa (village-owned business entity) in Tangerang District. During the event that was held at SGU campus, Muhamad Nasir (Unit Head of SEHATI BUMDesa Lengkong Kulon) shared his understanding and knowledge in the development and innovation needed by the village and the inhabitants.
The purpose this activity was to provide knowledge and information to the inhabitants of Tangerang District to improve the village economy based on the needs and potential of the village. SGU as a higher education institution in Tangerang area has a responsibility to provide community services to Tangerang inhabitants as part of the implementation of ‘Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi’. In addition, SGU would like to seek for collaboration opportunity with BUMDesa Tangerang District so that SGU and BUMDesa could maximize their functions respectively. Dr.-Ing Evita Legowo, Director of Academic Research & Community Services along with other SGU lecturers and students were also present.
