SGU Foundation Grants Full Scholarship

August 13, 2015 – Through its Foundation, Swiss German University grants full scholarship for two students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds in order to fulfill the institution's objective to provide the same opportunity for high quality education and learning experience to all qualified high school students, regardless of their economic background. Through this scholarship, SGU covers 100% of students' tuition fees for all semesters, totalling IDR 600 million.
For this year's intake 2015/2016, the Foundation Scholarships were given to Eunike Michelle Iranata from SMA Negeri 66 Jakarta who is enrolled in the Hotel & Tourism study program and Nadella Maharani Sembalangi from SMA Negri 3 Tangerang who is enrolled in the Accounting study program. Both students passed all scholarship requirements that include English proficiency test, excellent high school report and entrance test score, as well as participation in either academic or non-academic activities. In addition, they have the same high motivation that they wish to study abroad and have international experience while also hoping that the scholarship will ease the family’s finances.
Swiss German University Foundation greatly hopes that through this Foundation Scholarship, encouragement and support to build their knowledge and competence are given to help their and the families' dreams come true.
