SGU Goes To Europe 2024

Thursday, January 25, 2024, To give our semester six students a big send-off before they begin their internship adventure, Swiss German University (SGU) held an event, SGU Goes To Europe 2024 via online on Thursday, January 25th, 2024. The event was a symbolic farewell for the students about to embark on a new learning journey in Germany for six months to one year.

The event commenced with an opening speech by SGU Rector Dr. Dipl.-Ing. Samuel P. Kusumocahyo, followed by an inspiring address from Prof. Juergen Grueneberg, Chairman of the SGU Westphalia Foundation, and a continuation by German Ambassador Her Excellency Ina Lepel.

Highlighting the event were testimonials from seniors Trinasya Charis Renata and Janet Gloria, who shared their experiences and provided valuable insights and tips for students embarking on internships in Germany.

Through this internship program in German, students are expected to absorb knowledge, skills, lessons, and experiences while studying and working in Europe. This endeavor aims to shape them into individuals with international insight, enabling them to bring honor to the Indonesian nation on the global stage upon their return.

SGU extends its heartfelt best wishes to the departing students, expressing hope that their time abroad is filled with success, personal growth, and unforgettable moments. The university anticipates that the students will return with a broader perspective, equipped to contribute positively to both their local and global communities.
