SGU Prepares Students with SAP ABAP Training to Face the AEC

On January 15 – 16, 2016 the Information Technology Study Program of Swiss German University (SGU) held a training of SAP ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) in cooperation with the SAP Interface Community. The SAP ABAP is a programming language used in the SAP ERP system, one of the world leading ERP systems. The training was given to IT semester 6 students. The two-day training was intended to introduce SGU IT students with the ABAP programming, to extend their programming skills, and to prepare them for their internship in Europe as well as their future career after graduating from SGU.

This training was also given to the students to prepare them to face the incoming 2016 AEC (ASEAN Economic Community). As we all know, in this AEC era, Indonesian workers have to compete with other foreign workers. Therefore, to face this challenge, SGU would like to prepare and equip its students with valuable training and seminars so after the students graduate, they can compete globally by showing their enormous quality and competency.
