SGU reignites collaboration as “A Journey Together” for dreamful learning
While preparing to embark on an extraordinary quest to face the global challenges of tomorrow, Swiss German University (SGU) has weaved collaboration through the fabric of its curriculum.
By including globetrotting partners from Germany, Switzerland, South Korea and Japan, SGU cements its place as Indonesia’s first international university.
This was further realized through an SGU mini gala on Friday, themed “A Journey Together.” The event serves as a token of appreciation to all that have been continuously supporting and collaborating with SGU to provide a distinctive learning experience.
SGU is a pioneer university that offers international curricula with dual degree options.
The event will highlight five award categories: Corporate Partnership, Learning Collaboration, Alumnae and Community Engagement, all of which will be given by the academic community to SGU’s collaborative partners.
Collaboration is a fast track to achieve common goals and is highly valued by SGU, which was reinforced through the university’s recent achievement of outstanding recognition for its business and management programs.
SGU rector Samuel P. Kusumocahyo humbly expresses his deep gratitude to all the partners who have contributed to the university’s blossoming journey to becoming known for their commitment to providing an excellent education.
Transformation became the dream.
Collaborating with partners has had a significant impact on reshaping students and alumni into global learners and leaders. While reemphasizing the importance of teamwork, these achievements would not be possible without the multidimensional environment that has reestablished the relevance of learning. As a globally oriented university, SGU has undertaken a magnificent journey to achieve various academic and non-academic accomplishments.
However, the transformation did not stop there.
A symphony of cooperation resonated within the university and with other industries, government institutions, media and the heart of every educational and community establishment. This became the driving force behind the university’s academic programs, meticulously crafted to prepare students to face real-world problems.
Agile, adaptive and responsive learning approaches became SGU’s main pillars to instill versatility within their young scholars. The learners basked in these various programs and initiatives to prepare themselves for the job market and global demands.
And so, the legacy of SGU continues, with the forces of collaboration and imagination converging to create a haven where dreams can soar.
This event highlights the continuities of several ventures into the uncharted territories of the future, uniting the community of learners in their pursuit of wisdom and excellence, so that the enchanted legacy of SGU remains in the annals of time.
