SGU Strengthens Industry Collaboration through Cybersecurity Visit and Discussion with BNI
Swiss German University (SGU) welcomed a benchmarking visit from representatives of Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry, particularly in the field of cybersecurity.
The BNI representatives who attended the visit included:

During the visit, SGU facilitated a series of sessions covering the latest cybercrime trends, an introduction to Security Operations Center (SOC) operations, as well as an overview of SGU’s cybersecurity programs and facilities. An interactive discussion session also took place, allowing both parties to exchange insights and share practical experiences related to current industry challenges.
The visit continued with a tour of SGU’s SOC laboratory, where participants observed cybersecurity incident simulations and reviewed relevant case studies aligned with real-world industry needs.
Dr. Ir. Maulahikmah Galinium, S.Kom., M.Sc. stated, “We see collaborations like this as an opportunity to learn from each other and better understand industry needs. We hope the discussions can bring practical value and open up opportunities for sustainable collaboration in the future.”
