SGU Supervisory Board Address; Graduation Ceremony 2016
Sunday, September 25th, 2016 – During SGU Graduation Ceremony 2016 ‘Qualified Young Generation for Global Competitiveness’ held at Pullman Hotel, Jakarta – His Excellency Dr. Norbert Baas, German Ambassador to Indonesia, ASEAN, and East Timor (2009 – 2012), and also member of SGU Supervisory Board addressed all 329 Bachelor & Master graduates on the advantages of SGU’s future-oriented curriculum and the importance of building young generation’s qualifications for global economy, social demands, and United Nation’s development goals.
Dr. Norbert Baas has also done his service as Special Envoy for Russia, Central Asia and the Caucasus at the German Foreign Office, Director for Asia-Pacific in the Diplomatic Academy of the Foreign Office, Senior Advisor at Bohnen Kallmorgen & Partner Berlin, Chairman of the Friends of Castle Wiepersdorf – Bettina and Achim von Arnim Museum eV, and Chairman of the Friends and Promoter of the Bologna Center of the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University.
