SGU Welcomes Special Guests from the Indonesian Digital Industry Center (PIDI) and APP Polytechnic
Friday, October 27, 2023 – Today, SGU had the honor of hosting esteemed guests from the Indonesian Digital Industry Center (PIDI) under the Ministry of Industry, as well as representatives from APP Polytechnic, a subsidiary of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia.
The PIDI delegation included Mr. Rangga Marbun, Head of the Ecosystem Pillar Team, and Mr. Felix Simbara, Head of the Engineering & AI Pillar Team. They were joined by faculty members from APP, Ms. Intan Maria L and Mr. Fajar Ciputra. The guests were warmly welcomed by Ms. Tanika D Sofianti, Mr. Eka Budiarto, Mr. Adirya T Pratama, and Mr. Henry Nasution from SGU.
This meeting marks a continuation of the collaboration between Swiss German University and the Human Resources Development Agency for Industry (BPSDMI) under the Ministry of Industry. The Memorandum of Understanding for this collaboration was officially signed on August 14, 2023.
The discussions during the meeting resulted in planned collaborative activities, including focus group discussions, joint research projects, competency enhancement programs, and co-hosting an international conference. These initiatives aim to strengthen the partnership between SGU, PIDI, and APP Polytechnic, fostering mutual growth and knowledge exchange.
At the end of the meeting, the delegation was given the opportunity to tour the university’s well-equipped laboratories, providing a glimpse into SGU’s advanced facilities. The discussions continued, exploring further opportunities for collaboration.
