SGU's Career Expo 2023 Shapes Future Workforce Skills in the Global Talent Market

Friday, November 24, 2023, SGU’s campus was abuzz with anticipation as the university hosted its Career Expo 2023 onsite, under the theme “Global Talent Market Outlines Future Workforce Skills: 2023 and Beyond.”

The event kicked off with an opening address by SGU’s Rector, Mr. Samuel Kusumocahyo, followed by welcoming remarks from the Chairman of SGU Alumni Association (IKA SGU), Mr. Daniel Andre. The Career Expo was not only a platform for connecting students with prospective employers but also an opportunity for knowledge exchange through seminars.

A highlight of the day was a seminar conducted by PT. Indo Kordsa Tbk, delving into the “Essential Preparation to Have a Successful Career in a Global Company.” This session provided valuable insights into the skills and competencies required for success in the ever-evolving global job market.

Participated by 12 leading companies, including RMC Asia, PT. Graha Teknomedika, and Hotel Tentrem, the Career Expo 2023 facilitated direct presentations from these companies. It served as a bridge, connecting students with potential employers, while giving companies a chance to showcase their opportunities and engage with the talents of tomorrow.
