SGU visits Yamaha Factory in Pulo Gadung, North of Jakarta
As one of the program in the Accounting Program Study is excursion to manufacture industry, therefore, on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, 20 students from the 2nd, 4th and 8th semester were accompanied by Mr. Nurdayadi and Mr. Alfiandri visited to Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing in Pulo Gadung, North of Jakarta
Yamaha Indonesia Motor is one of the biggest company in Indonesia that produce the motor cycle and the motor bike. It produces roughly 6000 units with variety type of motor cycle per day then distribute to Yamaha distributors across Indonesian island, this is mass motor cycle production. In addition, this is benefit for students to gain knowledge of how the motorcycle made, especially flow of the production process. Presenting of motor cycle production, the Yamaha education team allowed us to walk through the factory from assembly department to finish good department and they explained each steps of the production.
Through this excursion program, the accounting students could understand how the production process in the manufacture industry and relate that with the theory from Cost and Management Accounting subject.
