Swiss German University (SGU) Welcomes Teachers from IPEKA Christian School

Wednesday, December 13, 2023 – SGU had the pleasure of hosting a visit from 15 teachers representing IPEKA Christian School. Accompanied by Mrs. Esther, the Director of IPEKA Christian School, and Mrs. Marisi Uli, Head of the National Curriculum Division, the day was filled with engaging workshops and guided tours of SGU’s faculties, including Food Technology (FT), Biomedical Engineering (BE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), and Industrial Engineering (IE). The warm reception from each Program Head and their teams, including Mrs. Maria, Mr. Aulia, Mrs. Filiana Santoso, Mr. Adit, and Mr. Boris, added to the overall success of the visit.

The workshops aimed to facilitate meaningful discussions and knowledge exchange between SGU faculty members and the visiting educators from IPEKA Christian School. The hands-on experience in various labs provided valuable insights into the practical aspects of each field of study, fostering a deeper understanding of the academic environment at SGU.

The presence of the educators from IPEKA Christian School strengthens the longstanding collaboration between SGU and the school. The shared commitment to quality education and continuous improvement is evident in the ongoing partnership, and this visit further solidifies the bond between the two institutions.

The Directorate of Marketing Communication (Dirmarcomm) expresses hope that this visit will not only strengthen existing ties but also pave the way for future collaborations and exchanges between SGU and IPEKA Christian School. The positive interactions during the workshop and lab visits indicate a mutual eagerness to enhance educational initiatives for the benefit of both institutions and, most importantly, the students.
