Convocation Ceremony and Orientation Day of the First Cohort Class under an Academic Cooperation between SGU and Polytechnic Gajah Tunggal
On Saturday, 11th of April 2015, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT) in particular the study program of Mechanical Engineering concentration Mechatronics, Swiss German University, held a Convocation Ceremony to welcome the first cohort of students of the cooperation between SGU and Polytechnic Gajah Tunggal.

The ceremony, hosted by ir. Landoh Garnito, MTD (Coordinator of FEIT extension program), was initiated with a welcoming address by Dr. Ir. Gembong Baskoro, M.Sc. (Dean of The Faculty of Engineering and IT), continued with Opening Remarks by Dr.rer.nat. Filiana Santoso (the Acting Rector of Swiss German University), Dr. Ita Mariza, M.M. (Director of Polytechnic Gajah Tunggal) and Bapak Petrus K. Teguh from student representatives.
The first cohort of students in the cooperation between SGU and Polytechnic Gajah Tunggal
The main purpose of the convocation ceremony was to officially open the new first cohort class of the cooperation between SGU and Polytechnic Gajah Tunggal and to ensure smooth transition to academic and campus life for first cohort students. The 30 cohort #1 students benefitted from the event by receiving advice from the faculty member, ir. Landoh Garnito, MTD related to regulation applied in SGU. The event concluded with a lunch together between students, lecturers, and officials from SGU.
