Seminar on IFRS Convergence and PSAK
On the December 1st, 2015 the Accounting study program of Swiss German University held a Seminar on IFRS Convergence and PSAK in order to enrich and strengthen the understanding of students in the area of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standard) implementation.
As we know, the Indonesian accounting standard principles (PSAK) are continuously to be reviewed and adjusted to be in line with the international rules. The guest lecturer is Mr Alexander Tansil, an Audit Advisory Services Manager from one of the top 4 accounting firms of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Ltd (DTT). The students got opportunities to raise questions and listened to the progress of the IFRS convergence in Indonesia.
Participating students, who are not only from Accounting but also Finance & Banking BA study program, are very enthusiastic during the event and gaining more knowledge mainly on the following important issues: Financial Reporting; Revenue recognition; and fixed asset revaluation.
