SGU Students Won 2nd Place at the 4th National Investment Day Organized by Bunda Mulia University
October 2, 2018 – During the 4th National Investment Day organized by Bunda Mulia University, SGU team, who was represented by Pandu Megananda (Accounting study program), Calvin Fitra Anggara (Industrial Engineering study program), and Christian A. Piolo (Industrial Engineering study program), won the 2nd place in the Stock Analysis Competition. They obtained 162 points and came out as the 2nd winner out of 30 universities participating during the competition.
Pandu, Calvin, and Christian made a 20-page stock analysis of a state-owned enterprise, PT Wijaya Karya, Tbk (WIKA). They made a valuation model for WIKA in order to find out whether the WIKA’s stock price is arguably cheap or expensive relative to the intrinsic value. They also combined several concepts to make a fairly complex and comprehensive model.
