Strengthening Educational Ties: SGU’s Friendly Visit to the Swiss Embassy in Jakarta
Friday, October 6, 2023 – SGU’s Rector, Mr. Samuel P. Kusumocahyo, accompanied by Vice Rector 2 Mrs. Nila Krisnawati and Director of Cooperations Mrs. Deborah Simorangkir, paid a friendly visit to the Swiss Embassy in Jakarta. They were warmly received by Mr. Olivier Zehnder, the Swiss Ambassador to Indonesia, along with Mrs. Tessa Nerini – Deputy Head Political, Economic and Cultural Division, First Secretary, and Mrs. Desak Putu Sinta Suryani – Economic and Political Officer. The meeting was cordial and marked by a spirit of friendship.
From the outset, the collaboration between the Swiss German University (SGU) and the Swiss Embassy in Indonesia in the fields of education and research has been robust. Both parties have demonstrated a high level of commitment to enhancing the quality of education and research in Indonesia. The strong collaboration between SGU and the Swiss Embassy in recent years has been commendable.
Looking forward, it is hoped that the partnership between SGU and the Swiss Embassy will continue to flourish, leading to even greater positive impacts. This includes advancements in the quality of education at SGU and the achievement of significant research outcomes.
With this shared commitment, it is anticipated that this collaborative effort will serve as an initial step towards both parties’ contributions to the progress of education and research in Indonesia. Such collaborations play a pivotal role in elevating the standards of education and fostering an environment of innovation and excellence, making significant strides towards a brighter future for Indonesia’s education landscape.
