Create A Strong Bond, SGU As An International University In Indonesia Officially Collaborates with the Government of Indonesia Through The Hotel and Tourism Management & International Culinary Business Concentration Program.

Hotel and Tourism Management, Batch 2017, proudly present appreciation night held on November 23, 2019, at Mercure Hotel Alam Sutera with a theme of -La La Land-. In this event, The Hotel and Tourism Management & International Culinary Business Concentration also gathered and conjunction to have an MoU Signing with several professional associations as hospitality industry representatives.

Where they will contribute to share their expertise and experiences with HTM and ICB Students in the future. The professional association is coming from the Indonesia General Manager Association (IHGMA), the Culinary Professional Association (ACP), the Indonesia Pastry Alliance (IPA) and PT. Langgeng Makmur Kencana (LMK) as the main distributor for Kenal Coffee.

Appreciation Night in Conjuction with MoU Signing is a big event that usually celebrates an achievement or to appreciate one’s development. As the next developers of the hotel and tourism industries, Swiss German University’s Hotel and Tourism Management batch of 2017 has organized an event to showcase the skills obtained for the past 2 years in the form of a formal dinner party, Gala Dinner. Appreciation Night is an annual event organized by the students of the Swiss German University for the main purpose of appreciating those people who have helped and supported the committee.

This event usually has a dress code of formal attire to allow guests to look their best for the party of the year. A gala often features a formal dinner and entertainment, dancing, an auction, and other stuff. Invitations are usually sent out to the guests for them to experience a relaxed fine dining with high quality service.

This collaboration has objectives such as, to develop skills of the committee, to show appreciation, gratitude and our most respect to the people that have supported the committee. And the most important thing this event has been done to create a strong bond within the committee. Other than that, this event has an objective to increase relations with the guests, lecturers, as well as industry representatives.
