Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) Shares Insights with SGU Students

Thursday, November 2, 2023 – An enriching Sharing Session was held at the SGU campus, featuring representatives from the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN). GEN, a global network that facilitates and nurtures entrepreneurship among young individuals in over 180 countries, provided valuable insights to the students.

The session was a part of the practitioner-led teaching program in the Business & Management department. Dr. Ivan A. Sandjaja, Managing Director of Global Entrepreneurship Network Indonesia, led the session, sharing his expertise and experiences with the eager audience. Students from both the Business & Management and Hospitality and Tourism Management programs actively participated, gaining valuable knowledge about entrepreneurship on a global scale.

During the session, Dr. Ivan A. Sandjaja highlighted the significance of entrepreneurship in the modern world and shared success stories and challenges faced by young entrepreneurs globally. The interactive discussion encouraged students to ask questions, fostering an engaging learning environment.

This Sharing Session not only broadened the students’ understanding of entrepreneurship but also emphasized SGU’s commitment to providing real-world insights and opportunities for its students.
