Global Horizons: SGU Rector Engages Vietnamese Ambassador for Double Degree Opportunities
Tuesday, February 6, 2024 – SGU’s ongoing dedication to expanding its presence in international markets, particularly in Asia, specifically focusing on Vietnam. The rector of SGU, Dr. Dipl.-Ing. Samuel P. Kusumocahyo, took proactive steps in this endeavor by engaging in discussions and exploring potential collaborations with His Excellency Ta Van Thong, the Ambassador-designate of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Indonesia.
Through this meeting, both parties expressed mutual interest in fostering cooperation in education. A significant outcome of discussion was the establishment of a double degree program tailored for Vietnamese citizens, encompassing both undergraduate and graduate levels of study. Notably, this program will complement a scholarship program to assist Vietnamese students pursuing their education at SGU.
