SGU Strengthens Ties with Nigeria: A Step Towards Quality Education and Human Resource Development
Thursday, October 12, 2023 – Swiss German University (SGU), represented by Vice Rector 2 Mrs. Nila Krisnawati, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Communication Mr. Yosman Bustaman, and Sales and Admission Manager Mr. Ilham Akbar, made a significant visit to the Embassy of Nigeria. The purpose of this visit was to enhance the collaboration between the two parties. They were warmly welcomed by the Ambassador of Nigeria to Indonesia, H.E. Usman Ari Ogah, and Counselor Mr. Yilkes Barminas Yilfwang. This meeting underscores the mutual commitment to improving the quality of education and human resource development.
During the discussion, SGU expressed its commitment by offering special privileges to Nigerian nationals residing in Indonesia, whether for work or study purposes. Additionally, SGU expressed its intention to explore potential collaborations, particularly in formal and non-formal education sectors.
This strategic move signifies SGU’s dedication to fostering international partnerships and expanding educational opportunities. It is hoped that the visit to the Nigerian Embassy today will yield positive outcomes for both parties, further strengthening the bond between SGU and Nigeria and paving the way for a brighter future in education and human resource development.
